GEMMA ROSE
PROFESSIONAL COPYWRITER

ABOUT ME
First of all, thank you for visiting my site.
I am a 22 year old copywriter from Sheffield, currently working at the Cream Club in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, which specialises in estate agency marketing. I joined Cream in July 2013 before I graduated as a junior copywriter and was promoted to a more senior role in January 2014.
My passions include writing (obviously!), reading, travelling and people. As well as all things panda related.
In the past I have undertaken work experience at DIVA Magazine, Chic Lifestyle Magazine and Exposed, and I used to work at Hospital Broadcasting Sheffield presenting the Wednesday Night Request Show.
I hold a 2:1 degree in Journalism from the University of Central Lancashire, along with a variety of NCTJ qualifications, including Shorthand at 100wpm.
As part of my final year project at university, a team of us created two original magazine concepts. The first was Volunteer Abroad, a B2B magazine for companies who specialise in arranging schemes abroad for eager volunteers. And the second was Atmosphere, focusing on new and upcoming talent. Atmosphere was shortlisted for Best New Digital Product Concept at the Magazine Academy Awards in October 2013.
One of my favourite things about the career I have chosen is the opportunity it has given me to meet and interview a variety of interesting and colourful characters.
Aside from this, I previously worked in Romania teaching English to Romanian children who were aged 8-10, and I worked in San Vincenzo, Italy in a gelataria for the 2012 summer season. Ciao!
